This house is protected by the good Lord and a gun...

...you might meet em both, if you show up here not welcome son.

This is my Sig Sauer 9mm...purchased in the name of home defense.

This is my Bushmaster M4A3 carbine...after the parents house was broken into, I decided to up the ante a bit.

On the left you will see some Remington .223, and on the right some 9mm 115 grain metal.

We don't call 911.

Goodness.

Though one day I want to try the shooting range. Ever since X-Files I've had this sort of daydream that I could become like a kick-butt version of Scully. When she had GOOD hair. Not the early years with very bad hair.

I do hope you don't get weird spam from this post, though.

OK. this is hilarious.

...and I promise to always call first, before I come in.

I agree that I won't be coming unannounced...and I won't bring up this post to my husband, we haven't budgeted for his ammo dreams.

Well, well, that is interesting. The trick will be making sure you are home when the bad guys come around, because they would be quite pleased to find your new "insurance policy" unattended.

Wish we could go to the range together. It might actually be fun without any NCOs around, they tend to ruin just about everything.

Indeed leaving them unattended is the trick Tim...just need an inconspicuous place to stash an M4. Took Charlie to shoot the 9mm...would be way fun for us all to go shoot stuff. And mother and sister in law...i definitely intend to identify all targets before pulling any triggers. :)
