as soon as i heard about this book i knew i needed to read it. my favorite types of books are military books...with sports books being my next favorite...so a combination of the two with the intriguing story of pat tillman, had me right excited to read it. after seeing the library system had 40 holds on it already, i broke down and dropped the $21 for it...it has not disappointed. it's been a very interesting read for me. at times the author seems to piggy back the popular story of pat tillman to voice his anti-war opinions...but in reality, it seems to be well-researched and written. i guess pat tillman wasn't so much for the war in iraq, so it would make sense that this book echoes that sentiment. but when all is said and done, i picked up the book a few days ago and have pretty much just ripped through it, i'd recommend it to anyone interested in sports, military, or just an interesting story of an extremely loyal and committed man...a devoted American soldier.
